Question 15

How much does restringing cost?

Accepted Answer

String options: synthetic gut / multifilament €20, polyester / co-poly €25, hybrid setup €30, and natural gut €45. If you supply your own string, the labour charge is €15. Tension is matched to your style, string type, and racket.

Question 16

How fast is the turnaround?

Accepted Answer

Same-day service is available for urgent jobs. Standard turnaround is within 24 hours, or 2–3 days when flexible — you choose the turnaround when booking.

Question 17

How often should I restring my racket?

Accepted Answer

A common rule of thumb: restring as many times per year as you play per week. Strings lose tension and elasticity even when unused, so regular players typically restring every 1–3 months. Try the free String Life Calculator for a personalised restring interval based on your hours and string type.

Question 18

Which string and tension should I choose?

Accepted Answer

Polyester strings give more control and spin; multifilaments and synthetics give more comfort and power — softer options are kinder on the arm. For tension: lower (20–22 kg) gives more power, medium (23–25 kg) is balanced, and higher (26–28 kg) gives more control. Not sure? Pick “please recommend” on the restringing form and it will be matched to your game.

Question 19

Do you sell tennis equipment?

Accepted Answer

Yes — the Tennis Pro Shop offers professional restringing plus advice and sales of tennis equipment, clothing, and footwear. Live string inventory is listed on the Pro Shop page, with premium strings from Luxilon, Babolat, Head, Wilson, Yonex, and more.

Question 20

Are the Racket Match Finder and String Life Calculator free?

Accepted Answer

Yes — both tools are completely free to use. The Racket Match Finder recommends rackets based on your level, style, arm health, and budget. The String Life Calculator tells you when your next restring is due.

Question 21

Where do the equipment reviews come from?

Accepted Answer

Rackets, strings, balls, and shoes are tested hands-on in intense practice sessions and in competition, by the coach and his athletes. Reviews cover performance, comfort, durability, and who each product suits.

Question 22

Can I get personal advice before buying a racket or strings?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. Start with the Racket Match Finder or the equipment reviews, then get in touch through the Contact page or WhatsApp for a personal recommendation based on your game.
